Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Exhibit

A History of the Crown in Lunenburg County

In celebration of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, The DesBrisay Museum and South Shore Multicultural Association are pleased to present A History of the Crown in Lunenburg County

This exhibit reflects on the relationship between our community members and the Crown, while sharing the legacy of the Royal Family and its impact within Canada.

To honour the Queen’s 70-year Reign, we invited members of our community to share photos and artifacts from their personal collections that highlight this relationship.

Many of the artifacts throughout the exhibit were loaned and or donated by community members. This exhibit would not be possible without their help, and we thank them for their contributions.
