South Shore School Art Show (April 7th – May 28, 2022)
The South Shore Art Show featured the artistic talents of students across Lunenburg County. Participating schools were from the South Shore Regional Centre for Education (SSRCE), and included: Bridgewater Elementary School, Bayview Community School, Newcombville Elementary School, Chester Area Middle School, Hebbville Academy and Petite Riviere Elementary School.

Historia Atlantica A Retrospective This exhibit by Lunenburg-based artist Su Rogers, focused on the often invisible work of Nova Scotia women in fishing industry, working both as packers and fishers. The DesBrisay Museum’s Clickety Clack Knitting Group recently created these beautiful poppies for a Remembrance Day display at Veterans Memorial Park in Bridgewater.
The weekly group along with dozens of community volunteers knitted and crocheted 500 poppies!
