“A Few Of My Favorite Things” by Sheila McKeand consists of photos capturing, some wildlife, some flowers and some landscapes, her favorite things. The majority of the photos were taken in Nova Scotia, with a couple from Alberta and Bermuda added in, to show the beauty of the country where she has spent the majority of her time. The exhibit runs from August 1 to October 31, 2023.

The DesBrisay Museum’s Clickety Clack Knitting Group recently created these beautiful poppies for a Remembrance Day display at Veterans Memorial Park in Bridgewater.
The weekly group along with dozens of community volunteers knitted and crocheted 500 poppies!
Historia Atlantica A Retrospective This exhibit by Lunenburg-based artist Su Rogers, focused on the often invisible work of Nova Scotia women in fishing industry, working both as packers and fishers.
