DESCRIPTION:The members of the Mahone Bay Meditation Society will be hosting free meditation classes at the DesBrisay Museum for people of all experience levels. The classes will be hosted every Monday from 7:00 – 8:30 PM.A note about  “Calm Abiding” meditation: \n\n\n\nAre you curious about meditation and its benefits?  \n\n\n\nHave you been wanting to try it but not known how to begin? \n\n\n\nHave you tried to meditate but thought it wasn’t for you or that you were “doing it wrong?” \n\n\n\nDo you want to get back to a practice you may have let lapse? \n\n\n\nAre you looking for a community to learn and practise with? \n\n\n\nLearn to rest and focus your mind and develop an easy daily practice. Calm and center yourself with meditation. Just 10 minutes at a time.

DESCRIPTION:This July 1st\, the Town of Bridgewater and the South Shore Multicultural Association will be cohosting a multicultural festival in the Woodland Gardens. This event is free to enter and family friendly. There will be many performances including singers and dancers from different cultural backgrounds. There will also be food trucks\, craft vendors\, and children’s activities. It’s guaranteed to be a lot of fun! Event runs 11am – 4:30pm.
