The classes will be hosted every Monday from 7:00 – 8:30 PM.A note about  “Calm Abiding” meditation: \n\n\n\nAre you curious about meditation and its benefits?  \n\n\n\nHave you been wanting to try it but not known how to begin? \n\n\n\nHave you tried to meditate but thought it wasn’t for you or that you were “doing it wrong?” \n\n\n\nDo you want to get back to a practice you may have let lapse? \n\n\n\nAre you looking for a community to learn and practise with? \n\n\n\nLearn to rest and focus your mind and develop an easy daily practice. Calm and center yourself with meditation. Just 10 minutes at a time.

DESCRIPTION:On Saturday December 2\, join us at the DesBrisay Museum for our second annual “Sip\, Shop & Support” the DesBrisay Museum! The Gift shop will be open and welcoming you to get some of your (tax free) Christmas shopping done. \n\n\n\nWe will be serving tea\, coffee\, hot cider and cookies to help keep your energy levels up! AND we will have live music provided by Runnin’ on MT\, a local band playing 50’s\, 60’s and some seasonal tunes too. \n\n\n\nThe shop is filled with \n\n\n\nTree ornaments\, \n\n\n\nBooks\, on local history\, folklore\, and more \n\n\n\nGreeting cards \n\n\n\nJewelry \n\n\n\nArt prints \n\n\n\nTea cozies \n\n\n\nBridgewater logo T-shirts\, mugs & keychains \n\n\n\nAnd now we also carry Peace By Chocolate! (Who doesn’t want chocolate?) \n\n\n\nAnd a lot more….. \n\n\n\nAnd… For the person on your list that has all the things they want\, may we suggest a “Friends of the DesBrisay Museum” membership. It’s only $10 for an individual or $15 for a family\, and membership gives you free access to the museum archives. \n\n\n\nAnd did I mention tax free? Hope to see you December 2 or before!

DESCRIPTION:The members of the Mahone Bay Meditation Society will be hosting free meditation classes at the DesBrisay Museum for people of all experience levels. The classes will be hosted every Monday from 7:00 – 8:30 PM.A note about  “Calm Abiding” meditation: \n\n\n\nAre you curious about meditation and its benefits?  \n\n\n\nHave you been wanting to try it but not known how to begin? \n\n\n\nHave you tried to meditate but thought it wasn’t for you or that you were “doing it wrong?” \n\n\n\nDo you want to get back to a practice you may have let lapse? \n\n\n\nAre you looking for a community to learn and practise with? \n\n\n\nLearn to rest and focus your mind and develop an easy daily practice. Calm and center yourself with meditation. Just 10 minutes at a time.

DESCRIPTION:Come try your hand at rug hooking with the RHGNS. \n\n\n\nDoris Wentzell is being celebrated as a devoted member of the Rug Hooking Guild of NS. Come enjoy the pieces that she created and experience her love of her farm animals and nature. Exhibit runs from October 7th until December 16th.
