Our colleagues in history and the written word at South Shore Public Libraries (SSPL) have completed a remarkable digitization project in recent years digitizing some 100 years of editions of The Bridgewater Bulletin, spanning the time period from its inception in 1888 to 1988.
With the cooperation of Lighthouse Media Group, in 2017 SSPL teamed up with Dadavan to create a powerful new way for South Shore residents to share and preserve our rich history online: a virtual library where everyone can contribute.
Powered by Dadavan’s Codex technology platform, the South Shore Public Library’s digital archive also allows residents to upload and share their own treasured photos, stories, artifacts and more.
As partners in heritage and education, we encourage you to check out South Shore Public Library's Bridgewater Bulletin Archive and their pilot project “Along the Lahave River,”, a Canada 150 project complied by the Lahave River Trail Association.
