Visit the museum to view our latest exhibit “50 Years Before the Easel – A Retrospective” by marine artist, Graham Baker.

Graham Baker’s first solo exhibition “Facing the Sea” was held at the DesBrisay Museum in 1974 followed by two more (1975 and 1981). Since that time, patrons have acquired over 1600 oils and over 12,000 reproductions. This will be Graham’s 31st major show.

Art Workshops: Graham Baker has delivered score of workshops to art groups in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Massachusetts and Florida. For 21 years, he offered a week-long, Paint-On-Location summer workshop, operated out of Lunenburg County.

Opening Reception: November 5 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
