Artist Statement

Emotions are as much an essential element of photographs as composition. Photos that evoke emotion simply portray a feeling. It can be open but also subtle. When portraiture has it – it makes an impact. But capturing emotion via photography can be incredibly tricky.

Many photographers struggle to capture emotion in their work. As a photographer or an artist, my aim, over the next many years, is to strive to improve. This series of photographs is called “In Search of Emotions” and is the beginning of my long journey.
