The 2025 Silent Auction
We are excited to announce an upcoming fundraising event! The DesBrisay Museum will be holding a hybrid (in-person and online) auction to raise funds for the museum’s programming and events. Come by the museum to place your bid, or tune in to our Facebook to bid online! The auction will take place from August 12th to August 16th.

“Pathways” is a collection of four images by Kathryn Price, taken while out hiking at various locations across Canada. These images, as a metaphor for life, are intended to make us pause to reflect on the natural beauty that surrounds us as we move forward on our own unique paths in life taking one step at a time.

Enjoy the Bridgewater Photo Club’s latest corridor exhibit, “In Search of Emotions” by Jostien Algroy.
The series marks the beginning of Jostien’s long journey of capturing emotions in photography.
Join us for Seedy Saturday on February 15th from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Hosted in partnership with Helping Nature Heal. Buy, sell and trade local organic seeds. Free lunch, door prizes and kid’s activities! Support the local food bank with a nonperishable or monetary donation for entry.
In celebration of International Women’s Day, our latest exhibit will highlight the stories and contributions of women throughout Lunenburg County’s history. Show runs from March 4 – April 1, 2023. In conjunction with the exhibit, we’ll also be hosting a letter opening event.
Join us on Thursday, November 14th for the next series of Around the Table: A Culinary Journey Through Our Community. This month we will celebrate Mi’kmaq culture and cuisine! Space is limited and registration is required.
Join us on August 16th 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM for the opening reception of the Kids’ Art Creation Exhibition! This show features artwork created during the summer’s Art Creation workshop hosted by the Town of Bridgewater Recreation staff. The Exhibition runs until September 13, 2025.
