Demonstrators Wanted: Fiber Fest

In honour of the Wile Carding Mill, we are celebrating fiber based arts and crafts and you are invited to participate. If you are a spinner, weaver, knitter, rug hooker, felter, embroiderer or other fiber based crafter, join us in sharing you skills and meet other crafters at our very first Fiber Fest.

What you need to know:

• Outdoor event with shade tents, tables and chairs provided.
• Activity areas organized by craft.
• You may offer items for sale, but it’s not expected. Showing off your craft is the only requirement.
• ALL ages and abilities welcome!
• Date: Saturday, August 8, 2026
• Time: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
• Location: DesBrisay Museum, 130 Juiblee Rd. Bridgewater
• Admission: Free (donations welcome)
