The Mahone Bay Meditation Society will be hosting free meditation classes at the DesBrisay Museum for people of all experience levels. The classes will be hosted every Sunday from 2-4 PM. The program will run for 6 weeks, starting on April 2nd and ending on May 28th.

The Mahone Bay Meditation Society will be hosting free meditation classes at the DesBrisay Museum for people of all experience levels. The classes will be hosted every Sunday from 2-4 PM. The program will run for 6 weeks, starting on April 2nd and ending on May 28th.
We will be offering a free series of afternoon crafting activities every Saturday in June from 2-3PM. These are family friendly activities where donation to the museum is optional. Some of the activities we have planned include painting with yarn, tie dyeing, finger knitting, and making friendship bracelets.

Grab your dancing shoes because the DesBrisay is throwing a party! Meet us behind the museum in the Woodland Gardens on June 24th to enjoy multicultural performances, dance workshops, and music. The event is free so all you need to bring are your family, friends, and a picnic lunch. Event runs from 10:00am–1:00pm.
Every second Wednesday the DesBrisay will be hosting a series of bi-weekly socials for refugees, immigrants, and other newcomers to the Bridgewater area These events will help connect newcomers with valuable resources & information and provide an opportunity to socialize with others who are also new to the community! Meet us inside the DesBrisay on June 28th from 2-4pm
This July 1st, the Town of Bridgewater and the South Shore Multicultural Association will be cohosting a multicultural festival in the Woodland Gardens. This event is free to enter and family friendly. There will be many performances including singers and dancers from different cultural backgrounds. There will also be food trucks, craft vendors, and children’s activities. It’s guaranteed to be a lot of fun! Event runs 11am – 4:30pm.
