The Great Lunenburglary Book Reading

Join us on Saturday, September 20th for a book reading with Bryn Pottie, author of the debut novel, The Great Lunenburglary.

Bryn Pottie grew up in the small town of Lunenburg before moving to Toronto in his late teens. There he experienced the local sketch comedy community, as well as Toronto Fringe, Just for Laughs, and the Austin Sketchfest. In the mid 2020s Bryn returned to his home of Lunenburg and went on to write his debut novel, The Great Lunenburglary, as a love letter to his home.

Book write up: In 1922 in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, two teenage friends with dreams of breaking the mould of Maritime music find themselves entangled in the most daring heist in Nova Scotian history – stealing the Bluenose! This rollicking farce combines wild adventures with classic East Coast sarcasm and winking nods to current events.
