Mi’kmaw Petroglyphs – Conversations with Mi’kmaw Artist, Barry Stevens

In celebration of Mi’kmaw History Month, join us for a conversation with local Mi’kmaw Artist Barry Stevens. Barry will be visiting the museum’s Indigenous Gallery for an informal chat about Mi’kmaw Petroglyphs, including his artistic interpretations of those found at Kejimkujik National Park.

One of Barry’s pieces is on display and part of the DesBrisay’s permanent collection.

Drop by the museum on Thursday, October 16, any time between 2pm – 4pm to chat with Barry, ask questions and learn more about Mi’kmaw art and history.
