Museum Engagement Coordinator (18-month term)
The Town of Bridgewater and DesBrisay Museum are currently recruiting for a Museum Engagement Coordinator to fill an 18-month term position.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Museum Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the development, organization, and delivery of programs, including events, exhibits, group tours, and other community outreach initiatives. This role is responsible for communicating and marketing activities that include museum offerings both onsite and in the community. Required tasks include event and exhibit planning, connecting with community groups and stakeholders, creating multimedia content, website and social media management, and other administrative duties.
ABOUT YOU
You are passionate about engaging with the community and helping to design and deliver high-quality programs and events. Your “can-do” attitude, coupled with your outgoing, helpful, and welcoming personality make you someone who people easily build rapport with. You are organized, love details, and juggle multiple priorities with ease. Finally, you are comfortable with marketing and communication tools and you understand how these tools can be used to tell the story of the Museum and its partners.
