The Friends of the DesBrisay Museum invite you to Shop, Sip and Savour. Make the museum gift shop a stop along your holiday shopping route on Saturday, November 16th, from 1pm – 4:30 pm. All items in the gift shop are created by local artisans and authors. Enjoy tax free shopping and some refreshments.
We were honoured to have Mi’kmaw craftsman Todd Labrador and his family build a traditional birch bark canoe here at the museum during Mi’kmaq History Month in October 2024.
