In celebration of International Women’s Day, our latest exhibit will highlight the stories and contributions of women throughout Lunenburg County's history. Show runs from March 4 - April 1, 2023. In conjunction with the exhibit, we'll also be hosting a letter opening event.
The museum recently received a donation which included a mysteriously unopened letter (circa 1932) addressed to the treasurer of the Ladies' Aid, now known as the South Shore Regional Hospital Auxiliary. On Saturday, March 18 at 2:00 PM we will be opening the letter and reading its contents.

Local author, John Cunningham and Digital Events Coordinator, Liana Oh, will be marking the 106th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge with a video presentation. The event will take place on Saturday, March 25 at 2:00pm at the DesBrisay.
