Silent Auction
We are excited to announce an upcoming fundraising event! The DesBrisay Museum will be holding a hybrid (in-person and online) auction to raise funds for the museum’s programming and events. “Pathways” by Kathryn Price – Bridgewater Photo Club Exhibit
“Pathways” is a collection of four images by Kathryn Price, taken while out hiking at various locations across Canada. These images, as a metaphor for life, are intended to make us pause to reflect on the natural beauty that surrounds us as we move forward on our own unique paths in life taking one step at a time.

Join us on Saturday, January 28 at 2:00 PM for a book presentation with local author, Bob Sayer.
Bob will discuss his new book “Mahone Bay: From Mi’kmaw Treasure to Town of Talents.” The book follows the history of the region from the Mi’kmaq through to the establishment of the Mahone Bay Centre.

Women’s History Exhibit & Letter Opening Event
In celebration of International Women’s Day, our latest exhibit will highlight the stories and contributions of women throughout Lunenburg County’s history. Show runs from March 4 – April 1, 2023. In conjunction with the exhibit, we’ll also be hosting a letter opening event.
