Presented in partnership with the Bridgewater Summer Social, our lineup of talented local crafters and fiber artists is officially locked in! Get ready to watch incredible interactive live demonstrations first hand. Try a new craft and explore how these vital, traditional crafts shaped our community’s heritage.
From master spinners and weavers to expert knitters, felters, and rug hookers, our featured vendors are excited to share their passion and showcase the deep roots of fiber art in our community. Bring your family and friends to the DesBrisay Museum’s special event for a day filled with inspiration, learning, and celebration!
Here is what you can look forward to:
-Guided tours of Powered by Water: Stories of the Wile Carding Mill.
-Fiber Arts: Live demonstrations of rug hooking, felting, knitting, spinning, weaving, and natural dyeing.
-Hands-on crafting and learning opportunities. Try your hand at traditional crafts.
