GHOST WALK UPDATE -- NEW DATE DUE TO RAIN
An additional update on the planned Ghost Walk with local Historian Peter Oickle. Ghost Walk is being postponed and will NOW take place on Friday, October 28, 2022, beginning at 6 p.m. near the Cenotaph.
Step back in time with local historian Peter Oickle for a presentation on the history of murders in Lunenburg County. Learn about several murders that happened over the span of 200 years and up to the 1960s.

iNaturalist is a global citizen science project designed to observe, collect, and share information in the field of ecology.
The information collected is used by scientists, researchers, volunteers, and academics, to better understand species diversity and distribution across the world.
During this workshop, participants will learn how to navigate iNaturalist via the app on mobile devices, take research-grade photos, upload observations, and identify a species.

The Bee’s Knees: Exploring Native Bumblebees of Nova Scotia will be a fun, interactive and educational workshop that really is the Bee’s Knees! Participants will learn basic anatomy through microscopic observations, practice new skills in species identification and be provided with great resources and information to make the most out of the next bee season!
